Snapdragon Goldfish Skull Flower Antirrhinum Majus Seeds

Mixed packet of 100+ home grown seeds!

I originally got these from Japan and over there they call them goldfish flower.
They do look much more like a fantailed goldfish than a dragon I reckon.

The snap dragon bit is because if you grab the base of the flower it opens and closed the mouth part which looks like a dragons head if you squint.

The other name I see them sold as is skull flower or skull pod.
This is because the seed pod looks exactly like a monkeys skull!
Super cool looking I reckon and pictures of these pods are blown up and used in all sorts of dodgy clickbait scams all over the internet.

They are a very cool looking plant that is easy to grow and this mixture has all sorts of colour combinations.
White, pink, orange, red, maroon, violet, purple, yellow, as single and double colours, and no doubt a few other combinations I missed.
They send up a flower spike and bloom from the bottom up so they stay colourful for weeks and weeks on end.

It’s a great addition to the garden and both the flowers and the finished dried pods make great cut flowers.
They have a floral cinnamon and spices type of aroma that makes the whole house smell lovely.

Very hardy and easy to grow, well worth a thought if you are planting a flower bed or even just a couple pots.
The bees love them especially the natives.

Anyway, here they are folks, goldfish flower, snap dragon or skull flowers.
Whatever you want to call them they really are really cool!

Grown by me and the Mrs organically, no chems, no nasties, no problems!!!
