Peruvian Strawberry Guava Psidium Cattleianum Seeds
Packet of 10+ home grown seeds!
A small delicious red skinned fruit that’s very fragrant and sweet, almost jaboticaba, rose, blueberry with a sort of strawberry after taste to it that lingers for ages.
If that makes any sense? Great juiced, fermented (wine), pickled, made into jam, jelly or even better just eaten straight of the tree, skin and all! This variety has tiny little fruit with very few seeds too, which is a real bonus for guavas.
Even handier, the dried leaves make a great tea substitute, as they are quite high in tannins and various antioxidants. Used regularly its said to boost the immune system and improve digestion. The taste is nearly identical to normal tea. Just roughly chop or food process the green leaves then leave them to dry. The bruising of the leaves is vital for that real tea like flavour.

Unlike 90% of other fruit trees out there, you should be picking and eating fruit, within just three years of planting the seed, and it stays true to form, generation after generation, unlike the multitude of hybrids out there!
Three years from seeds to eating the fruit is super fast for a seedling fruit bush, small shrub, and as it’s a nice small size it does great in pots.
It also handles the heat and cold exceptionally well. From -6 to 40c+ with no problems at all!
Drought, flooding, the lot without breaking a sweat. That’s it really, just a really tasty, easy care, and early fruiting bush or shrub.
