Pink Banana Jumbo Pumpkin Cucurbita Maxima Seeds
Packet of 10+ seeds!
Very hard to find old heirloom variety of pumpkin.
As the name suggests, they really are bright pink skinned, some even having the odd blue or aqua patch like the one in the picture.
Great pumpkiny taste, not like a squash, or at all watery.
Brilliant yellow flesh with a reasonably small seed cavity, and no long strings of fiber like other varieties often get.
If you are after something a bit different, that still tastes how a pumpkin should, then this is one I really recommend!
They store great for months and don’t lose their flavour. The flower and small fruits like in the picture can be eaten just like a zuccini.
Great fried with garlic and butter!
The fruits themselves are really handy fitting in the fridge with ease. You can cut off enough for a meal with no dramas, pretty much like a loaf of bread in size and shape.
The fully ripe fruits make nice creamy soup too.
Have a crack at them, they are pretty damn cool!
