The Dorset Naga is a close relative of world famous Bhut Jolokia, and is a specially selected strain of the Naga Morich.
Definitely one of the world’s hottest!
It has a mind-blowing heat to it, and not only heat, it has a really fruity sort of complexity to it, that adds lots of flavour along with a powerful punch at the end.
Great in a curry or stirfry, used sparingly of course, as a little really does go a long way with these guys!
Great in pots, and that’s how we grow them most of the time. The plants can be cut back hard after fruiting, and reshoot just fine.
We are into our sixth harvest on some plants, with a couple picks every year normally.
Hardy fellas, with the 40c days, and occasional heavy frosts, both not having much of an affect on them.
Grown by us organically, no chems, no nasties, no problems!!!
