Celery Apium Graveolens Seeds

Great plant to have in any collection.
The leaves are excellent in soups and stews, and if you cover the stems with newspaper or cardboard like a bunch of flowers, you get nice straight, light coloured branches like in the picture.
The fresh crisp sticks are just made for dipping in spreads or stuffing.
Great chopped up for making salad. Good alternative food for helping with weight loss as they are high in fiber and water.
Also very high in calcium, also containing potassium, vitamin C and just 100gms is 36% of your daily vitamin K needs!
Said to be an Aphrodisiac because it contains high levels of Androsterone, which is a hormone that is naturally produced in males of the species.
Apparently it also stimulates sexual arousal in the fairer sex……(Now that can only be a good thing I reckon!)
The other main goodie it contains is Butylphthalide or NBP, which is proven in animal studies to lower blood pressure.
