Spilanthes Oleracea Lemon Drop Toothache Plant Seeds
Packet of 50+ home grow seeds!
Very cool plant, its always one of the first plants I show guests.
Great fun to chew on just for fun! I eat one bud everyday as they are meant to be great for the immune system, and as it grows so quick once established, you can propagate by cutting or the huge numbers of seed it produces.
Spilanthol, is the main chemical within the plant that has a powerful local Anaesthetic action.
It really does, and as it is a strong natural antibacteria, antifungal, antiviral, antiparasitic, and increases the production of saliva, its a great natural treatment for tooth, mouth and even skin issues.
Feels really cool, just like a shot from a dentist but NO PAIN AT ALL!
Just a strong tingling, tangy Lemony candy taste, and instant relief from pain!
Lasts about 10mins of noticeable numbness, and the pain relief properties continue for an hr or two..
I sell three types of toothache plant and this one has medium sized strawberry shaped fruit that are all yellow.
Apparently its even been used to treat malaria and ringworm successfully?
Better for you than Big Pharma’s answers to toothache and localised pain in my humble opinion, and MUCH more effective. The fact it helps to treat the problem, not just mask the pain has gotto be a good thing!
I crushed my thumb pretty badly a while ago, and it was bleeding/seeping like a sponge with a lovely vivid purple/black colour. The nail was hiding underneath the meaty bits somewhere and it was very, mangled, and visibly pulsing.
Not a lot of fun…..
Anyway, I couldn’t sleep due to the constant throbbing and I was at the point I would have a crack at anything!
I went out the backyard, and squeezed a heap of buds and leaf up in a small glass with cold water, and I stuck my mangled thumb in, and I SWEAR it had an instant pain reduction to me!
60%, maybe 70% better, and enough relief to get to sleep, finally.
Over the next couple days, whenever it started to really throb, or a bit got caught on my shirt/shorts/couch/seat, and I ripped it (happened a lot!) instead of screaming/swearing and carrying on like an idiot, I just bit my tongue, calmly went outside, and made some more juice to soak it in. Worked great, it really, really did.
The most shocking thing of all was, it didn’t get infected, even though I had been moving compost/manure around all morning and my hands weren’t exactly clean when I did it……..
(Now before you say anything, I know that’s not really a proper medical experiment, as no helpless bunnies got tortured, but its good enough for me!)
If I ever do something that stupid again, I will be going straight out the back for more!!!
P.S.
Don’t worry I learnt my lesson!
I now know that Yes, I can pick that absolutely, ridiculously, humongous boulder up, and I can carry it all the way over there, but putting down safely without doing in my back or flattening my fingers could be a real issue…..
Grown by us organically, no nasties, no chems, no problems!!!
