Acmella Calirrhiza Spilanthes Kenyan Toothache Plant Seeds

Packet of 50+ freshly harvested seeds!

This fella is a really beautiful looking ground cover, and provided it gets the odd watering it is incredibly hardy.

I produces masses of yellow flowers and glossy succulent looking leaves with red stems.

Even cooler, it has a huge history of use for gum disease, toothache, malaria, and water purification in its home land of Kenya.

It is commonly called Keynean acmeela, Acme la carly hiza, Spilanthese acmella, Spilanthese calirrhiza, Kenyan acmella, Acmella calirrhiza, or just toothache plant.

I sell several other painkiller toothache plants here.

This one has a much slower onset and milder “fizz” than the other forms I grow which makes it much easier to eat and use in cooking, salads etc.

The other types I have can be a little overpowering if you are not use to it, where as this fella is much milder.

It still has a strong anaesthetic effect on the mouth and gums, or even on open wounds, and due to its strong antibacterial and antifungal effects its a great plant to have in the medicine garden.

The flower buds can be dried and keep their strong anaesthetic effects for at least a year if kept in a cool dry place.

Unlike clove oil there is no known side effects like “dry socket” or longer healing times to worry about either.

I consider this to be quite a rare species here in Australia and I have never seen it for sale anywhere else?

Grow by me and the Mrs organically, no chems, no nasties, no problems!!!

NOT FOR WESTERN AUSTRALIA or TASMANIA due to added expense and drama involved.
If you decide to try and buy anyway, this item will not be sent. 🙂
