Sweet Banana Capsicum Annuum Seeds
Packet of 20+ home grown seeds!
Known by a few names, but most often called Sweet banana capsicum or Neapolitan pepper or even occasionally Peperone Friariello by my Italian mates up north.
Whatever it is, it’s bloody awesome!!!
These peppers, sweet chillies, capsicums, or whatever you want to call them are really great, and they go well with salsa, sauces, pasta, pizza, curry, salads, pickled, smoked, stuffed with goat, creamed or cottage cheese.
Great way to recycle left over risotto, seasoned rice, polenta, amaranth or even just to add to other dishes that need a little something extra.
I normally just eat them like an apple seeds and all as I’m cruising around the garden.
As the seed cavity is tiny with very little pith, you can just fry them up whole with a bit of garlic, eating them as a side dish, or spread them on toast with a sprinkle of cheese.
Masses of fruit, great color range starting pale yellow green, then a small percentage get varying amount of purple flecks, and finally ripening bright red.
They always sell really well at the local markets and smoked or dried they store for years.
