Edible Nasturtium Tropaeolum Majus Seeds
Packet of 10+ seeds of this beautiful and tasty peppery plant!
Very unique flavour to the flowers and leaves, spicy, fiery and peppery like watercress, wasabi or Moringa Oelifiera root.
Even the young seeds and pods are good, just be sure to use them with moderation.
Crushed with a little vinegar and oil like Mustard is good.
Pwworr, packs a punch though!
Easy plant to grow, just soak the seeds in warm water then plant them in a nice loose soil mix.
Before you know it you will have a heap.
Great as a ground cover or as a companion plant for hiding your other herbs in. Helps to keep the grasshoppers off them.
The leaves can be used as a spray on tomatoes and chillies too, especially for things like mealy bugs and aphids.
Very attractive plant, very high in vitamins and minerals, and if you keep the soils moist you should have no problems at all.
It does handle the hot dry weather too, just the growth is a bit reduced.
