Packet of 50+ organically grown seeds!

This what I found on the internet>>>

“Argemone mexicana, Mexican prickly poppy, Flowering thistle, Cardo or Cardosanto is a species of wild poppy found in Mexico and now widely naturalized in many parts of the world. An extremely hardy pioneer plant, it is tolerant of drought and poor soil, often being the only cover on new road cuttings or verges. It has bright yellow latex, and though poisonous to grazing animals, is rarely eaten, but has been used medicinally by many people including those in its native area, the Natives of the western US and parts of Mexico.

The Seri of Sonora, Mexico use the entire plant both fresh and dried. An infusion is made to relieve kidney pain, to help expel a torn placenta, and in general to help cleanse the body and relieve pain after .

When the Spanish arrived in Sonora they added this plant to their pharmacopia and called it cardosanto. Extensive use in Hispanic cultures includes as a sedative and analgesic tea, including to help alleviate migraine headaches. The toxic seeds are also taken as a laxative.

Argemone Mexicana is used by traditional healers in Mali to treat malaria among other illnesses.”

Looks cool with the variegated leaf and pretty flowers. The roos leave it alone because of the spikes and it is incredibly drought tolerant.
A spray made from the whole plant stops the critters chewing my fruit tree stems and bark during the dry and it kills aphids and scale too.

There you go folks. Mexican poppy seeds!

NOT FOR WESTERN AUSTRALIA or TASMANIA due to added expense and drama involved.

If you decide to try and buy anyway, this item will not be sent. 🙂
