Grosse Lisse Tomato Lycopersicon Esculentum Seeds

Packet of 20+ home grown organic seeds!

This is a very famous variety of tomato it is the most common Australian breed for a reason.
It can handle the extreme heat much better than most other large fruited types and the fruit itself is delicious.

They can hang for a very long time on the vine and if you pick them early they will ripen up over a few days or so.
This ensures you get Tomatoes consistently throughout the warmer months.
You can trellis them and a couple plants in ideal conditions will cover a wall and feed a family with ease.
Just keep and eye out for cutworms and caterpillars, and try to wet the roots and not wet the leaves while watering.
Do that and you can’t really go wrong.

Here I grow Tagetes minuta to use the leaves and flowers as an insecticide and as a herb.
I then use the left over stems as tomato stakes.
They provide support and stop the caterpillas from munching the fruit at the same time.
Three tied together at the top makes a nice tripod to grow the tomatoes up against, and the heavy fruit hang in the middle semi-protected from the critters.
Works awesome and I highly recommend it!

Grown organically by me and the Mrs, no chems, no nasties, no problems!!!
