Lophostemon Confertus Queensland Brush Box Seeds

Packet of 200+ tiny dust like home grown seeds!

This fella is sometimes known by the old name of Tristania conferta, or the common names of pink box, box scrub, brush box, Queensland box, Brisbane box or even Vinegar tree.

It is an Aussie native and grown as a street tree in all parts of Australia, and makes a great alternative to the common yet incredibly invasive Camphor Laurel~Cinnamomum camphora.

It is grown in parks and gardens in the USA along with many other places as it has no insect pests of issues to speak of.
Unlike gum trees it doesn’t drop it branches making it a safer choice for public places.

It also responds well to pruning and new growth has a lovely pink and red shade to it.
The bees love the flowers and it produces heaps of them all through Summer.
It handles drought well, along with heavy smog, poor soils, and it provides a lot of shade due to the dense overlapping leaf structure.

Having a lifespan of 50 to 150 years it’s a tree that you can plant for the next generation to enjoy too.

NOT FOR WESTERN AUSTRALIA or TASMANIA due to added expense and drama involved.

If you decide to try and buy anyway, this item will not be sent.
