I'll get straight to the point, two reasons for this newsletter.
The first one really sucks for me, but the second one is good news for you guys.
As you may know, me and the Mrs live way out in the scrub on a dirt road, middle of nowhere rural Queensland Australia. We love it here! 3x a week we drive to town and post the orders.
Unfortunately we only have one car and I killed it last Thursday.
Radiator was dry, so broken head gasket, cracked head, something major but haven't got the full report back yet. Regardless, no car or easy way to get to town, for at least the short term.
We are also flat broke having just spent all our savings on a plant collecting road trip up north (cool plants coming soon!), followed by a fancy new pump for the dam and gravity fed irrigation (no more bucketing water in the dry!).
So yeah, no car and flat broke, so no more posting 3x a week either.
Instead we will now post Monday's only.
Got a lift to town sorted for Monday 1st, but after that the plan is to just ride a bicycle. Might take me all bloody day but steady steady, it's only once a week and though I'm not exactly looking forward to it, being honest I could probably do with the exercise...
Looking at the positive it's gonna lower our carbon footprint a lot and I might even see some cool plants and critters on the way. It will also save us a couple bucks on fuel long term which is handy.
