This email is to let you all know about the major changes I have had to make to the way we ship your FairDinkumSeeds orders.

Corona/Covid-19 has meant economy air mail from Australia is cancelled worldwide, and delivery to some locations is now impossible. Delivery to other locations is much more expensive and higher risk to customers now too.

For our Aussie customers nothing has changed, Australia wide delivery is always FREE!!!

If you can buy it in the checkout then I am happy to send it to your location and delivery times are pretty much back to normal. The recent rush means lots of species are sold out, but just wack your email on the notify list(on the product page near the price).
I will let you know when we do the next harvest.

This email is mostly a heads up to all our cool international customers!

I'm about to restart international shipping but unfortunately there are MAJOR CHANGES as to how we will do things going forward.

I'm not a rich dude and therefore every single order has to at least pay for itself after adding up all the costs.

Sales fees, packaging, stamps, time, blah blah blah.
As much as I hate the idea of it, I am a business not a charity, and I do have rent that really needs paying...

Corona/Covid-19 flight cancellations have made me reassess how me and the Mrs have been doing things. Adding it all up was really kinda depressing as I can now clearly see international shipping doesn't make financial sense, and it hasn't for very a long time...

Now it's always nice to be nice, but at the end of the day I'm a business and I have to make decissions based on "profit", not what makes me feel good.

Emails and pictures from happy customers all over the world growing our cool plants is great for the ego, but it does bugger all to the bank account.

Without economy air the cost of stamps alone is now $22-$38 depending on where you are in the world and how big the order is.

The % of fraud with international "customers" is unfortunately much higher these days. It's also a lot more paper work, wasted time, and general stuffing around VS domestic Aussie mail.

With all that in mind I have had to jack up the capped postage fee on international orders from $AU 7.50 to a ridiculous $AU 40.00!

For example>>>
*1item + $40.00 international postage fee = $XX.XX
*10items + $40.00 international postage fee = $XXX.XX
*100items + $40.00 international postage fee = $XXX.XX

At this high a price I honestly recommend you buy from someone else, or only make large orders.

Apart from the now ridiculous postage cost the other major change I need to make on International orders is that there will now be no guarantee of delivery.

I am being paid to "export", but as the "importer" it is very important you guys understand all international delivery is a gamble, always. If YOU choose to gamble(and I honestly suggest you don't)  then keep mind you may LOSE.

You may pay me a heap of money, I will then pack up all the ordered items, chuck in a couple freebies and post it all out. BUT, at the end of the day the order may just never arrive...

You may be throwing your money away and for that reason I recommend if you can't afford to lose your money then you just don't buy.
I'm not a dodgy dude, I don't steal, and if you pay me I will ship.

But yeah, I can no longer guarantee actual delivery to any international locations and the shipping fee is now a ridiculous $AU40.00 capped.

Sorry international folks, it sucks for everyone but that's just how it is now. My choices were ship at a loss and go broke. No international shipping at all ever. Or crazy a high shipping fee and much higher risk to my cool customers.

With all the emails I have been getting lately I figured this last one was the best option for everyone?

Keeping all these changes in mind, cool seeds are available for sale at https://fairdinkumseeds.com Limited numbers of everything due to the recent rush so if sold out at the moment just wack your email on the notify list and I will email you when we do the next harvest.
