White Yarrow Achillea Millefolium Seeds

Packet of 200+ freshly harvested seeds, from this awesome well known medicinal herb!

Beautiful clumps white flowers all over the plant, occasionally with a shade of very pale pinkness to them.

Handles everything you can throw at it.
Wet, dry, hot, cold, it thrives here no matter what the weather is doing!

Fantastic for drawing minerals and nutrients from down deep in wasted soils and very common in “improved pastures” back in the day.

Stock eat it as a fodder crop, and it is great for erosion prevention, as the roots hold the topsoil together so well. It even looks really pretty too!

White Yarrow has had a very long history with many cultures as a medicine, as it has pain relieving and anti-inflammatory effects and can slow or stop the bleeding of wounds, due to its natural astringent and blood clotting chemicals.

Use it myself on minor cuts that won’t stop bleeding, especially if I am hot and sweaty, bloods really pumping from working hard.

It contains naturally high levels of salicylic acid, which is chemical used commonly as an acne treatment, and is a basic component of Aspirin, and therefore the plant is very useful for many types of headache pain.

It was used extensively by the Native Americans for general pain relief, headaches, toothache, earache, burn treatment and even as a mild stimulant!

Used by European soldiers as a staunch for deep wounds and as a mild Analgesic or pain killer in battle.

It’s a very hardy and useful vegetable in its own right, and was apparently hugely popular in the 17th century.
I’ll admit it’s not the tastiest vegetable I’ve ever tried, but it isn’t offensive or anything. We just use little bits here and there in salads, soups, stews and the like.

Awesome stuff, easy to grow, very hardy, tastes great, and is super useful too!!!

Grown by us organically, no nasties, no chems, no problems!!!
