Black Bean Soja Noir Glycine Max Seeds
Packet of 20+ home grown beans!
Got these guys in trade and I have to say, they are pretty cool!
Neat little vine with heaps of long thin beans, a lot like Snake Beans.
I just use them in the same way, sliced and fried with garlic and leafy greens.
Or I wait until the beans get huge and fill out, then I shell them for soups and stews. Just a quick rub between your hands over a bucket is all you need to do. Very easy to sort, and they store great.
Very productive, they don’t need much room and they taste great.
Apparently they can be fermented to make the world famous Chinese “Black Bean Sauce”.
On the “to do list” for sometime in the future.
This is the first and only time I have seen them anywhere, but after growing them for a couple crops now they are a very worthy addition to the collection!
Grown by me and the Mrs organically, no chems, no nasties, no problems!!!
